Linda Jenkinson, 57, announced Thursday in a Facebook post she has “absolutely no idea why my gay son went no contact.”
“I’m pretty sure it’s the internet that has driven a wedge between my son and I,” said Jenkinson. “The moment all these kids started talking in that ‘therapy talk’ is the exact moment he tried making me look like the problem. All I’ve ever done is be the best mom ever, always pointing out how embarrassing he can be, and reminding him to watch his weight.”
Linda’s son, Tyler Jenkinson, 33, says his mother has become absolutely unhinged since the Covid-19 pandemic. “I knew my mom was crazy before, but during Covid she really snapped a bolt,” said Tyler. “She says she has no idea what I don’t speak to her, but we actually had a therapy session where I directly told her I don’t want her in my life because she continues to attend anti-LGBTQ events, where she holds up a picketing sign that’s a picture of me depicted as Satan, which reads, “God Hates Fags & my son’.”
Linda denied all connection between her anti-LGBTQ stance and the poor relationship with her gay son. “He’s so sensitive. If he doesn’t like my stance on gay people, then maybe he should think about not being gay. I am his mother, and I raised him to be a kind and accepting person, not all hateful like he is toward me.”
She also went on to note “If my son can’t see how much I love him, then he can go straight to Hell where he belongs, along with all his little boy toys.”
After auditing 20 recent Facebook posts on Linda’s personal page, a skinnyfattwink staff writer found six posts blaming all of her children for ruining her 30s, ten anti-LGBTQ posts which tagged her son Tyler, and four posts generated by Ai that said “share if you hate Ai.”
“She’s absolutely nuts,” Tyler said. “The last fight we had was because I sent her a card and flowers for Mother’s day, but they didn’t arrive until 2pm so she posted on Facebook about how ungrateful her sinful gay son is. Honestly, she’s a pick me bitch.”
